Partnerships

The vitality of Michigan State University is closely linked to that of our home community of East Lansing. It is important that substantive connections between our university and our community are maintained. Community partnerships increase opportunities for service-based learning for our students and for faculty-based research on community related issues. In the process, Michigan State University's faculty, staff and students contribute to the programs and activities of the East Lansing community in a positive and beneficial way.

To provide our community with information about the many ways in which MSU faculty, staff, and students are involved in the city of East Lansing, we have developed this site. We have separated these projects by category (listed on the left) and have many links within this information if you wish to follow-up on any particular program. We hope that this information will provide an impetus for visitors to this site, both MSU and community members, to become involved with any of the activities described.
